Georgia Motor Fuels Excise Tax Suspension Extended

Georgia has extended the motor fuels excise tax suspension through 11:59 PM EST on Wednesday, October 16, the current end of the State of Emergency initially put in place for Tropical Storm Helene. While the State of Emergency only applies to certain counties, the motor fuels excise tax suspension applies to the entire State of Georgia. See announcement from Governor Brian Kemp.

The tax suspension originally started from 12:00 AM EST on Thursday, October 3.
