Founded over 21 years ago, KSM specializes in providing U.S. motor fuels tax and sales and use tax compliance, consulting, and tax technology services to clients in the oil and gas industry. Our commitment to this specialty area provides a depth of knowledge not typically found in other accounting, law, or consulting firms.

Whether it's establishing or refining a return preparation process, researching tax and registration issues, or assisting in the implementation and integration of a client-selected tax determination or reporting software, KSM works with clients to efficiently and effectively meet business and compliance needs.

Houston-based KSM works primarily with clients in the refining and marketing industry, including refiners, traders, and terminal/pipeline operators, and clients in the natural gas industry operating fractionation plants. We also work with chemical manufacturers and distributors to comply with the Superfund Chemical Excise Tax.
